During an eye examination your optometrist (either Harriet or Stuart) will assess your vision, as well as examining the health of your eyes - both inside & out. They will, if needed, check the pressure in your eyes for glaucoma & perform a visual field test. Following these checks Harriet & Stuart will be able to discuss with you both the health of your eyes & help you understand, if required, the options you have regarding glasses/contact lenses.
We have a Heidelberg Spectralis machine, which allows us to not only look at the surface of the retina but the layers of the retina as well. This allows for early detection and diagnosis of many eye conditions and can accurately monitor the progression of any eye-health issues
